These are two experimental films I created while studying at UNM.
Catnatomy was created as my final project for my Intro Cinematography course. Wesley Abbe had shared his latest album Organism at the time with me. I was inspired by the third track The House Cat and created this video portrait of my own cat Koozebanian based on it.
the imperm anence of things was a more in-depth video portrait of my girlfriend and fellow filmmaker/artist Tanya Mahmood. I was inspired by Chris Marker's Sans Soleil and the film Leviathan by Lucien Castaing-Taylor and Verena Paravel. it was filmed over the course of 4 months as the final project for my Essay Film course.
